ACCESS Health International is delighted to share the GLC4HSR Annual Conclave 2023 Proceedings, a comprehensive publication capturing the discussions and foundational insights from the inaugural Annual Conclave of the Global Learning Collaborative for Health Systems Resilience (GLC4HSR), held on
March 10 - 11, 2023, at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, India. As the Secretariat of GLC4HSR, ACCESS Health has brought together the deliberations from the Conclave into a resource that lays the groundwork for collaborative learning and action on health systems resilience.
The Proceedings document the Collaborative's early learning journey, exploring how health systems resilience can be understood, assessed, and strengthened through a people-centered systems approach. Organized around health systems performance assessment, service delivery, governance, financing, supply chains, digital health, communications, and community engagement, the publication brings together perspectives from global health leaders, policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and development partners. It highlights the need for stronger primary healthcare, resilient health workforces, interoperable information systems, participatory governance, sustainable financing, and equitable access to essential health goods, while introducing the Collaborative's guiding philosophy of translating knowledge into action and action into knowledge.
Designed for policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and development partners, the Proceedings offer foundational insights and practical recommendations for strengthening resilient, adaptive, and people-centered health systems. We invite you to explore the attached executive summary and download the full Proceedings via the link in the comments. Together, these learnings provide the foundation for the Collaborative's ongoing journey to advance resilient health systems through shared learning, partnership, and action.
