Dr. RK Prasad is a Family Medicine and Public Health Physician and Scholar. The focus of his work currently is on:

1) How to reduce the policy intent to performance gap in CPHC? & 2) How can comprehensive primary health care systems be scaled while : a) Retaining the values and scope of CPHC; b) Improving outcomes for patients, families, providers, and health systems; c) Strengthening system capacity—including clinical absorptive and load-bearing capacity; and d) Advancing equity and fair distribution of health resources.

He serves as Convener of the CPHC Alliance, is a member of the steering group of the CPHC Design Lab and the Chair of the Academy of Family Physicians of India (AFPI) National Centre for Primary Care Research & Policy.
