Dr. Manish Priyadarshi holds a Ph.D. in Urban Health from Jawaharlal Nehru University and brings extensive cross-sectoral experience spanning academia, research institutions, government, and the corporate sector. He is currently serving as Director (Evaluation) at the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office, NITI AAYOG, Government of India.
Dr. Priyadarshi is an accomplished public health researcher with significant contributions to health systems, migration, and development. He has collaborated with leading global organizations including World Health Organization, UNICEF, GIZ, National Institutes of Health, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and United Nations Development Programme, among others, serving as a consultant and advisor across diverse national and international projects.
He is a Fellow of international repute, associated with institutions such as the Max Planck Institute, Institute for Social Research, and the Young Demographers Programme in Rostock, Germany.
An established authority in development and public health, Dr. Priyadarshi has authored and co-authored numerous publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research at several international conferences. His work focuses on health systems strengthening, migration, urban health, and equity, contributing to evidence-based policymaking and improved population health outcomes.
