Dr Rajiv Chhibber is a Senior Corporate Affairs, Policy, Communications and Media Strategist with experience across Pharmaceuticals/Medical Devices Industry, Healthcare, Environment, Power and the Development Sector. Dr Chhibber is currently Vice President, External Affairs at Sahajanand Medical Technologies (SMT), a leading developer and manufacturer of minimally invasive coronary stent and vascular systems.

He is a member of various government committees/sub-committees in areas of Public Health Advocacy & Communication, Pharma & Medical Devices, NCDs, ESG, Climate Change & sustainability, in addition to being on various Industry lead committees of AIMED, CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, PHD Chambers of Commerce, IIT Kanpur & Delhi, Delhi Technical University (DTU), NIPER-Hyd & Ahd, TERI, etc where he plays a stewardship role in creating the vision for India’s MedTech and healthcare system, assisting the government's vision to achieve India’s Healthcare and Environmental Goals. He provides mentorship to numerous academic institutions in the areas of Sustainable & Health Communication, MedTech & HealthTech Policy, Public Health & Sustainability, driving the ‘Industry-Academia’ approach. Dr Chhibber has the distinction of being the 1st MedTech lead to represent the Indian Medical Device Industry at the World Economic Forum, Davos in Jan 2024.
