Himani is a seasoned public health professional with expertise in strategic planning, management, and communications. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked with state governments, policy-making institutions, international foundations, donors, and the private sector. As part of the senior leadership team, Himani leads the health systems advisory and capacity building work. She spearheads multi-state programs to support the implementation of Ayushman Bharat health reforms. Driven by human-centered design principles, Himani has successfully implemented projects in primary healthcare, public insurance, maternal and child health, and systems strengthening. She spearheaded a large-scale Public-Private Partnership for primary healthcare delivery in underserved communities in Rajasthan and Delhi. Her work in Rajasthan earned her the National Health Mission's Leadership Award for transformational primary healthcare in 2016. At the national level, she has worked to develop institutional capacities for policy advocacy to advance population and reproductive health rights. Himani holds a graduate degree in Psychology from the University of Delhi and a postgraduate degree in Social Work from the Delhi School of Social Work, specializing in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work. A wellness enthusiast, Himani enjoys yoga, cooking, and traveling with her family.
