Ms. Archana Verma, an IAS officer of the 2014 batch from Uttar Pradesh cadre, holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and Post graduate in Public administration. She has previously served as the Director (Administration) of Medical & Health Services in Uttar Pradesh and as Special Secretary in Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare. Prior to this she has held many important positions at districts like CDO Muzaffarnagar, DM- Hathras and Vice chairman Pilkhua development authority- Hapur.

At present she is Chief Executive Officer of the State Agency for Comprehensive Health and Integrated Services – SACHIS, Uttar Pradesh. Ms. Verma is at the forefront of implementing Ayushman Bharat – PM-JAY in Uttar Pradesh. Under her leadership, SACHIS has advanced not only in expanding coverage, but also in strengthening governance, driving digital innovation, improving hospital engagement, and enhancing beneficiary-centric services across the state. She has been instrumental in introducing and scaling key digital initiatives such as Ayushman Sarathi, AYUSHI Bot an Ayushman Sampark OPD-appointment systems, making healthcare more accessible and transparent for millions of citizens.
